Ground control to Major Tom: today is your last chance to reach for the stars! On closing night, Pop-Kultur 2019 kicks it into warp speed once again. CocoRosie have new music up their sleeves, Deerhoof promise a one-of-a-kind concert experience, Ukrainian high-flyer alyona alyona is along for the adventure as is the fantastic Jenny Wilson, while the Hamburg collective One Mother will battle the status quo with their wild mix of rap and pop. These are just a few of the highlights on Friday, which is also when our »Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs« alum Adelle Nqeto will perform!

As if Pop-Kultur’s big farewell party weren’t enough, there will also be a few world premieres. International Music & The Dorf are teaming up, Ilgen-Nur studies the urgent problems of her generation, Janto Djassi Roessner ponders identity issues, and ANDRRA deals with (post-)migration, while Magic Island takes us on a trip through hell, purgatory and paradise. Please fasten your seatbelts!

This year we will once again offer a half-price ticket (not including fees) for holders of a »berlinpass«. These can be reserved in advance by sending an email to tickets@pop-kultur.berlin and picked up with the presentation of a valid »berlinpass« at the Kulturbrauerei box office starting on the 21st of August.
