Pop-Kultur 2023 kicks off on Wednesday with concerts, DJ sets and talks. As with all three days of the festival, today will feature commissioned works – pieces created especially for Pop-Kultur receiving their world premiere. Anika will transform the Kesselhaus into a space for voices that would otherwise not be heard. And in the performance by A Song For You, around 40 Berlin singers and dancers will come together to give you a musical hug, featuring powerful soul voices, vogueing and ballet. Besides these, electro-pop duo Junior Boys from Canada, Honduran-American synth-pop musician Empress Of, Kreuzberg rapper BRKN and many, many more will ensure a diverse evening from discourse to disco.
