»Pop-Kultur Diskurs« THURSDAY

In addition to its live music programme and commissioned works, Pop-Kultur offers readings, films and all kinds of talks with guests from culture and society discussing current and relevant topics. These include fair pay in the cultural sector, festivals in times of war and exemplary initiatives for diversity within the music industry.

Deutschlandfunk Kultur is welcoming the likes of Frank Spilker and Charlotte Brandi to talk about critical masculinity in pop. Receiving its premiere at Pop-Kultur is the feature film »Clashing Differences« by Merle Grimme, starring Thelma Buabeng and Minh-Khai Phan-Thi, dealing with the debates on diversity, ranging from tokenism to empowerment.

Each »Diskurs« ticket allows admission to all panels, films and readings on the respective day.
